A stunning silver anniversary celebration

The US-based Nu Skin Southeast Asia wanted to celebrate its 25th anniversary in a special location and reward its Asian distributors with a memorable incentive experience.
With over 1,000 distributors attending from Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia, the organisers split the distributors into two groups travelling on different dates. Each group was flown to Brisbane and transferred by road to the Gold Coast.
The incentive was not without its challenges, however. A programme highlight was a magical dinner at McLaren’s Landing on South Stradbroke Island, just north of the Gold Coast, attended by 750 people. Five boats were arranged to ferry the group – one of the largest ever transfers to the island - and the group also wanted to create the shape of Australia for a photo, requiring a helicopter to be arranged so the photo could be taken from the air.
Other activities included a city tour of Brisbane and a stop at Harbour Town, the region’s biggest shopping centre; visits to Dreamworld and Whitewater World, Seaworld and Movie World; an optional tour to the QDeck observation tower; and a whale-watching boat trip on the way to dinner at McLaren’s Landing.
Melisa Tantoco Quijano, president Southeast Asia, Nu Skin Enterprises, says the cruise and dinner at McLaren’s Landing was the most memorable part of the trip.
“The Gold Coast Convention Bureau kept their promise to make the arrangements special,” she said. “We are sure our distributors will feel rewarded for their accomplishments and will return to work energised and motivated.”
