Team Australia UK/Europe
Top celebrity chefs, Antony Worrall Thompson and David Selex, took part in two very successful events held in London from 5 - 10 April 2006. Corporate clients were invited on 5 April and trade clients were entertained on 6 April. The evenings included a team building exercise where guests were divided into teams to re-create the dishes they had seen the chefs prepare. The chefs judged the teams on the taste and presentation of the dishes. Afterwards the guests enjoyed a five course gourmet meal prepared by Selex, wine tasting with FGL Wines and entertainment from the Singing Soux Chefs.
The evening events followed a series of networking sessions and workshops with 19 representatives from the Australian conference and incentive tourism industry, including international hotels, convention bureaux and airlines.
The series of events were sponsored by Qantas Airlines, Hyatt and FGL Wines.
Team Australia is the joint partnership between Tourism Australia and the Association of Australian Convention Bureaux.
